‘Singaporean guys kick girls’ — Two women punched & kicked by random men at Marquee; need help to identify attackers

Two women were attacked at around 2:15 am on Sept 4 at Marquee by men who were unknown to them and who are still at large.

The women, Leeanne and Julia, posted about the incident on social media. They are hoping that witnesses will come forward and help identify the men who attacked them.

Man stuck in newly-renovated bathroom for hours, called out to his wife, but she couldn’t hear because she was watching TV

After renovations, one should expect things to work better than before, not worse, right? Unfortunately for one man, this did not turn out to be the case.

A Mr Huang, 63, ended up trapped in his own bathroom, which had just undergone renovations, for hours.

KF Seetoh tells hawkers to raise prices to sustain themselves: ‘if you close shop cos you cannot raise prices fairly, then no one will give a hoot when u shutter up’

In light of the increasing costs, KF Seetoh told hawkers to “just raise” prices in order to sustain themselves.

In a Facebook post on Sunday (Sept 4), he wrote, “Cost of that tin of oil was $17 pre.pandemic, today it’s $40. .among many rising cost in this post covid reality, way more than to 10% reported here”.

SG couple saves money while travelling with extra bag filled with ‘comfort Asian’ food and an electric pot

TikToks from a couple who go by @wethecurioustravelers showed how they avoided paying for “crazy expensive” meals and “saved a ton of money” on their trip to Europe, especially to Switzerland, one of the most expensive countries in the world.

The couple went to “Germany, Swiss, Milan” with an extra bag full of mostly prepackaged Asian food and an electric cooker, which meant that not only did they save on meals, but they were able to enjoy a taste of home while overseas.

JJ Lin’s Dota 2 team disqualified from International 2022 Qualifiers for late confirmation and lapses in judgement

Malaysia-based Team SMG has been disqualified from the upcoming regional qualifiers for the 2022 Dota 2 international tournament finals to be held in Singapore.

The e-sports organisation was founded by Singapore pop star JJ Lin and had been preparing for The International 11 (TI11) regional qualifier for Southeast Asia.
