American woman shares 10 reasons why Singapore is the ‘worst place to live in’ — one reason is because snakes fall from trees!

A TikTok of an American woman living in Singapore recently went viral, with many netizens leaving negative comments and some even telling her to “pack and leave.”

Alisoninasia’s TikTok that went viral is captioned “10 Reasons why Singapore is the worst place to live,” which was viewed 2.3 million times. Included on her list are humidity, high cost of living, snakes and bad hair days.

Filipina maid in Singapore sent to jail for attempting to blackmail married boss over affair and distributing intimate image

A domestic helper from the Philippines pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal intimidation on Monday (July 18) and received an eight-week jail sentence for attempting to blackmail a part-time former employer.

Another charge of distributing an intimate image was taken into consideration in sentencing Melissa Bariga Cuizon, 40.

Netizens have taken to social media to re-circulating the video of Leong Mun Wai once again being rebuked in Parliament.

In Parliament earlier in the month, Non-Constituency MP (NCMP) Leong Mun Wai tried to seek clarification on whether the defence ministry intends to look into further relaxation of eligibility criteria for the deferment of National Service.

The Selective En-bloc Redevelopment Scheme (SERS) in Ang Mo Kio faced a lot of backlash from residents, especially the elderly.

Earlier this month, the HDB announced two new options for replacement flats that are now being offered to residents at Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 selected for the Selective En bloc Redevelopment Scheme (Sers).
