Foodpanda rider literally takes matters into his own hands ― cooks order himself after waiting too long

Malaysia ― After allegedly waiting for an order for far too long, a Foodpanda rider was spotted taking matters into his own hands, by cooking the food himself.

A TikTok video went viral after a food delivery rider was seen being proactive in ensuring he got his orders to the destination on time.

The video, captioned with “The type that can’t be ignored,” began with a man behind the camera commenting that the delivery guy seemed like he waited too long to pick up an order.

There were also other food delivery rider motorcycles parked at the front.

According to sea.mashable.com, the rider was making a classic Malaysian favourite roti canai, and he was kneading on the dough like a pro.

It is unclear if the long wait led to the rider handling the order himself.

According to a comment by the original poster, Muhd Ariff, the incident took place in Selayang, a town in the Malaysian state of Selangor.

Since being posted on Oct 6, the video has garnered over 53,700 likes and shared across different platforms like Facebook page FoodPanda Rider Malaysia.

The rider received praise from members of the online community, noting his versatility and dedication to the job.

A netizen commented wittingly, “Your rider is preparing the food,” in reference to the notification message that customers often receive regarding their orders. /TISG
