foodpanda vs grabfood footbal

Just in time for World Cup season, food panda vs GrabFood became a hot topic not for their food delivery speeds, but for a football match that captured the imagination of netizens.

This unexpected twist was brought to light by TikToker @izked. While traversing Choa Chu Kang, he caught sight of Unity Secondary School’s football field, where players were donned in the distinctive pink and grey Foodpanda uniforms and the vibrant green GrabFood attire.

“Wait a minute. GrabFood vs Foodpanda. Which team are you on?” said the TikToker, showing the men in a football match. The scene was not just a testament to the fierce competition in the food delivery market but also an emblem of fun and camaraderie.

Some, like TikTok user Oli Zee, sat on the fence stating,

“Idk. I’m both? Since I registered to GrabFood and Foodpanda,” wrote TikTok user Oli Zee.

“I’m for the team that will deliver my McCafé hot drinks without spilling,” said another TikTok user.

After a quick scroll through the comments, it appears that GrabFood has the upper hand.

Still, there were one or two rooting for “Team Honestbee all the way.”

Many connected the dots and blamed the showdown for the late delivery of their food orders.

“No wonder my order was late,” said TikTok user absoluttobacco, whose comment earned more than 5,700 likes.

“No wonder the other time I ordered Pastamania, it took 1h30mins, and in the end, it got cancelled,”  TikTok user Singapore Football added jokingly.

Another netizen continued the thread and said, “Please be more considerate.. who would want to deliver your food after they lost a match.”

There isn’t much information about the match. Was it an official game between the food delivery platforms as a team-building exercise, or if the school’s teams being sponsored by Grabfood and Foodpanda?
