BIGBANG’s G-Dragon collaborates with Nike for limited edition kicks

South Korea’s boyband BIGBANG member G-Dragon recently collaborated with Nike to create limited edition sneakers.

Nike and G-Dragon’s fashion brand PEACEMINUSONE released their Air Force 1 Para-Noise collaboration sneakers in Korea this month.

Available in two colours, black and red for the ‘swoosh’ mark on the Air Force 1 Para-Noise, the shoes are priced at 219,000 won (SGD254.75).

Fashionistas swarmed to get a pair the moment of the release.

To score a pair, you need to be winners of a raffle called the ‘Shock Draw’ and be in the running to get one of the 818 pairs made.

There was a long queue in front of the Nike store in Hongdae, Seoul as people lined up to enter the ‘Shock Draw’ on the day of the release.

The shoes were resold which reached up to millions of won (thousands of dollars) while the limited edition of the sneakers was resold for close to 10 million won (SGD11,634).

On November 23, the Air Force 1 Para-Noise will be available globally.
