A woman from Jiangxi Province in China chopped of her husband’s penis with a pair of scissors while he was brushing his teeth. The husband, identified only as Li, told medics that his wife suspected that he was cheating on her after starting a new job.
The wife who became paranoid demanded that her husband swear that he had no contact with any other women, and promise that he had not answered their calls or even smiled at them. The man, claimed she maimed his manhood in a desperate attempt to keep him from straying.
The wife attacked him when he was naked in the bathroom at about 7.30 in the morning. Li managed to cover his blood-drenched groin to stop the bleeding before he was sent to the hospital. Doctors said they had successfully reattached Li’s penis but warned him to be extra careful while recovering.
Meanwhile, another woman in India identified only as Jayanthi, has been charged with attempted murder after she bit off part of her husband’s penis when he caught her cheating on him. The 45-year-old woman from Tamil Nadu’s Vellore district snuck off to meet her boyfriend during the performance of a play her husband had brought her to.
In the midst of the performance the husband, Senthmarai, started to worry about how long she was taking. When he went to look for her he stumbled across the two lovers. The wife’s lover is identified as another villager, Dhatchanamoorthi.
A police officer said: ”Enraged, Senthamarai grabbed his wife and her lover and threatened to make their relationship public. Noise from the festivities drowned out Dhatchanamoorthi’s cries for help and in the scuffle that ensued, Senthamarai’s ‘dhoti’ (trousers made of cloth) fell off. Jayanthi, fearing she and her lover would be thrashed, wanted to escape before villagers reached the spot. She bit his penis, severing part of it, and fled with her lover.”
