Luana Andrade, a well-known Brazilian influencer, has sadly died at the age of 29 in a private Sao Paulo hospital.
She was renowned for her roles in Power Couple 6 and as a stage assistant on the Brazilian TV show Domingo Legal.
In pursuit of enhancing her social media presence, she underwent liposuction surgery, but complications arose, leading to her heart stopping around two and a half hours into the procedure.
Sao Luiz Hospital in Itaim Bibi swiftly ceased the surgery and attempted resuscitation before transferring her to the intensive care unit. The investigation revealed a pulmonary embolism associated with thrombosis as the cause.
Inevitable passing
Despite efforts with haemodynamic treatment, her passing became inevitable.
Beyond her influencer status, Luana Andrade was involved with SBT channel and had her own clothing brand. Her final social media post, shared from her favorite gym, showcased her last moments of joy.
With a substantial social media following, her fans mourned the loss, and her boyfriend, Joao Hadad, expressed heartbreak, calling it his “worst nightmare.” The world joined in commemorating her grace and elegance, highlighting the profound sadness at the untimely departure of such a vibrant life.
Condolences from friends
Prominent figures, including Brazilian football sensation Neymar, conveyed their condolences on social media. Neymar shared his sympathy on Instagram, addressing a sorrowful day marked by unfortunate events. He first acknowledged an attack on the parents of Bru (Bruna Biancardi), expressing relief that they emerged unharmed. Neymar highlighted the passing of Andrade who was his friend, passing his heartfelt condolences to her loved ones and wishing for divine solace as he said that may God welcome her with open arms.
Brazilian artist Adryana Ribeiro shared her profound sorrow on social media, expressing disbelief at the tragic events surrounding Andrade’s passing. She described her as a beautiful, young, and sweet girl with her entire life ahead. Adryana extended sincere condolences to Andrade’s family, friends, and fans.
Adriane Galisteu, a colleague of Andrade, also took to social media, expressing disbelief and a broken heart. In a post, she exclaimed, “My God in heaven, I can’t believe it! My heart is broken! My deepest condolences to the family, friends, and João.” The sentiment echoed the widespread grief felt by those who knew and admired Luana Andrade.
