Singapore ― A member of the public recently involved in a road accident took to social media to thank the “kind Singaporeans” that helped him.

Brian Lin, a Taiwanese working and residing in Singapore, shared his experience on Facebook group Singapore roads accident.com.

I was met with a motorcycle accident on Saturday morning (Oct 16) at around 6:30 am along Holland Village – Farrer Road, shared Mr Lin.

“I would like to use this platform (as I don’t know of any other way) to say thank you to the people that stopped at the accident site to stop traffic and move me to the safer side of the road.”

“Thank you to the kind Singaporeans that stopped and helped me; I am grateful and felt the warmth despite the pain I felt at that time,” added Mr Lin.

Members from the online community wished Mr Lin a speedy recovery and extended appreciation to the good Samaritans that helped.

“One nation, one Singapore we here to help anyone regardless race or religion,” commented Facebook user Tengku Muda Edros.

Kind gestures are often highlighted on social media, such as the time when a motorist waited for an elderly pedestrian to cross Jalan Besar road safely even though the lights were green.

“With all the negativity going around, it’s nice to see some kind act,” wrote the netizen that shared the post earlier this month.
