The secret to HK actress Weng Hong looking so good at 51

Hong Kong — Actress Weng Hong may be 51 but she has been able to maintain her youthful looks and a slim figure.

She stunned fans once again recently when she uploaded a couple of gym photos wearing a sports bra with a low neckline. She also wore a waist-training brand that emphasised her waist.

The photos showed the actress working out on a cross-trainer. She accompanied the photos with an inspirational caption: “If you possess confidence, perseverance and courage there is nothing you can’t accomplish. If you want to be healthy, health is the partner to longevity, exercise is the source to good health.”

Although there have been rumours that she had gained weight, the actress, who is also known as Yvonne Yung, looked healthy and slim.

She looked so good that her fans could not help but fawn over her figure. “How not to look young when you enjoy working out and are such a positive person?” commented a fan. Another said: “There is a reason you have a good figure. Keep up the good work.”

“You are the benchmark of beauty for older women. You are elegant and your figure is incomparable,” read another comment.

It was then revealed that Weng Hong worked hard to attain the beautiful figure. Her 48-year-old husband Will Liu Lunhao is a gym instructor and he constantly pushes her to stay active by ensuring that she works out two hours a day.

She works on strength training and flexibility and sticks to a clean diet.

Weng Hong made her debut on the entertainment scene as a model and dancer. She was the first runner up in the Miss Asia Pacific contest in 1989. She was also the Hong Kong delegate for Miss World 1989.

The actress was known in the 1990s for appearing in Category III films, which are not for those under the age of 18. She retired from the film industry in 2001 but has made appearances in television series. /TISG
