Confusion arose in Malaysia’s local media on whether Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad prefers Thor as super hero instead of Thanos from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Malaysian PM had to clarify to the media that his favourite super hero is Thor, putting national news agency Bernama and some other local media outlets in jeopardy for wrongly reporting he likes the villain Thanos.

However, a day later, Dr Mahathir used a favorite line from super hero and war movies saying under the Pakatan Harapan regime, “No Malaysians will be left behind”.

The elderly statesman known for his sarcasm and cynical approach on some pertinent matters, shows he also keeps an eye on the movie world.

Dr mahathir went to the extra length of clarify the matter on his official Facebook page saying, “When asked by reporters which was my favourite character in the exhibition, I chose Thor.”

Dr Mahathir is referring to Thor, the God of Thunder who hails from Asgard, who is played by Australian actor Chris Hemsworth.

On a more serious note, Dr M says the government will return the favour to the people for the mandate they had given to Pakatan Harapan.

Dr Mahathir Mohamad says despite allegations that nothing was achieved after Pakatan took over the country’s administration, the facts proves otherwise.

He says the government have solved many problems left by the previous regime and he believes the country will recover.

He adds the PH government will keep its promise to share the country’s wealth citing a new policy of shared prosperity introduced by the government.

But Dr Mahathir says the people’s support is needed to make the policy a reality, mentioning possible introduction of new approaches in the agricultural sector which he says involves mostly the poor.

This will be done in order to level the playing field in the country and share the prosperity as enjoyed by the people in urban areas.
