Wang Xiao Fei Denies Cheating Allegations as He Faces Divorce with Barbie Hsu

Taiwan — Wang Xiao Fei, the Chinese businessman entangled in a high-profile divorce with Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, has dismissed rumors of an extramarital affair. Wang Xiao Fei who is at the center of the divorce saga with his wife Barbie Hsu, finds himself battling not just legal proceedings, but also malicious speculations.

Barbie Hsu married Wang Xiao Fei, in a civil ceremony, in 2010. The following year, they celebrated their union on Hainan Island with a banquet.

According to Yahoo, rumors of a romance between Wang Xiao Fei and actress Zhang Ying Ying, 25, who is also a social media influencer, surfaced on Dec 18.

Social media sleuths then tried to establish the connection by comparing photos of Wang Xiao Fei andZhang Ying Ying wearing similar bracelets, visiting the same bar in June, and other locations that looked alike in photos that were circulated online.

In response, according to The New Paper, Wang Xiao Fei issued a statement saying that this was nothing more than malicious slander. His lawyer then released a statement on Wang’s behalf on Weibo, asserting that he had every right to sue for defamation because these allegations were false.

Hsu’s only comment according to The New Paper was that all this was in the past.

“I cherish the moments. Thank you to everybody who is concerned about me,” Barbie Hsu said, urging a focus on the future, rather than dwelling on past turmoil. /TISG
