Trevor Noah’s S’pore shows sold out, the comedian takes some time out to experience hawker food

Singapore – Popular stand-up comedian Trevor Noah is in Singapore for the first time to perform two shows at The Star Theatre on August 19 (Monday).

On Saturday night, the comedian-host was spotted at Newton Food Centre having a taste of some local cuisine.

LAMC Productions posted the following photo on their Facebook page, welcoming Noah.

Initially, Noah was supposed to perform one show in Singapore; however, tickets were sold out rapidly, which urged the group to schedule another show.

Tickets were priced between S$98 and S$198, excluding the booking fee.

Noah will be performing two shows, both a part of his Loud and Clear Tour at 7 pm and 9:30 pm.

It is expected that Noah will be performing with the same flamboyance and style that he uses as the host of The Daily Show.

Not to forget the witty takes on current international affairs audiences are familiar with.

Naturally, Noah is expected to deliver some new content suited to the local context, such as topics of identity and race.

Noah will also be making stops in Hong Kong and Japan for his tour. -/TISG
