A Singaporean TikToker who appears to believe that one good turn deserves another went out of her way to buy treats for migrant workers who, when they saw one among them fall off his bike.

Writing that she “grew up watching my mum did the same exact thing for our migrant workers,” TikToker Sermangkok decided on a sweet treat for the men, buying them glasses of boba tea.

Her video, uploaded on Nov 23, has since been viewed over 345,000 times. She had been watching the men at work when one worker fell from his bike. “They all scrambled to help him up,” she said, adding, “So I decided to get them a little something something to show my love for their kindness.”

She then proceeded to hand out glasses of the cold tea, urging everyone to “spread kindness” in a world “where you can do “absolutely anything.” “Every act of kindness creates a ripple with no end.”

Other TikTok users appreciated her kind gesture.

One noted that the men “are building the new MRT line isn’t it, they work so hard everyday.”

Another noted that “Being kind isn’t that common anymore.”

Others who have done similar acts of kindness shared their stories too.

  The TikToker also said in a comment that even a kind word toward the workers goes a long way.
