SDP’s Paul Tambyah and Damanhuri Abas visit PAP-helmed Holland-BT and Bt Batok

Yesterday evening, Singapore Democratic Party’s Chairman Paul Tambyah and Central Executive Committee (CEC) member Damanhuri bin Abas visited residents at Holland-Bukit Timah Group Representation Constituency (GRC) and Bukit Batok Single Member Constituency (SMC).

The residential visits seem to be increasing in frequency, as last week, Dr Chee Soon Juan, the Singapore Democratic Party’s (SDP) secretary-general, took to social media to announce the entrance of young members into the party.

He also added that the new members were meeting residents at Bukit Panjang SMC.

Holland-Bukit Timah GRC is currently led by the People’s Action Party (PAP), and helmed by Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan and Senior Minister of State Sim Ann.

Similarly, Bukit Batok SMC is helmed by the PAP’s K. Muralidharan Pillai.

While it is unclear if the SDP plans to contest in Holland-Bukit Timah GRC, or in Bukit Batok SMC, SDP’s Secretary-General Dr Chee Soon Juan contested in both these constituencies in 2015 and 2016 respectively.

Kicking it up a notch. SDP teams visiting residents at Holland-BT and Bt Batok last night. We're looking for patriots. Sign up and be part of our campaign for change! #SDPNOW #TheWayForward
