Roadblock of a different kind – duo spotted chilling on road

Singapore – Two men were spotted chilling on a blanket along a Park Connector Network (PCN) on the road designated for walking.

“Roadblock of a different kind,” wrote Facebook page ROADS.sg on Friday (Oct 22), sharing the incident posted initially on SG PCN Cyclist page.

“Like this occupy PCN also can ah? Your private place at public facilities? Northshore is your Ah Gong place,” the caption noted.

The photos showed two men on a grey blanket. A cyclist could be seen passing by the duo.

In response to the sighting, members from the online community wondered why the duo chose the street when there was “literally a good patch of grass next to them.”

“Strange. You would think dirt is nicer to sit than hard concrete,” added Facebook user Justin Chia.

“They probably thought PCN is short for PiCNic,” commented a netizen, poking fun at the incident.

According to netizens, this was a common sight in the area.

“This is very common along the stretch before marina country club. Ride safe,” said Facebook user Guoxing Shi, noting it occurred in a different location./TISG
