Netizen asks Naomi Neo how did she become the person she is now; she says her life is the opposite of what she had pictured before

SINGAPORE: In her Instagram story, Naomi Neo asked her followers to talk to her and ask her personal questions. And so, one netizen asked: “How did you become the person you are now?”

In a separate IG story, Naomi admitted that she did not plan her life. And it was the opposite of what she expected before. She said she started using social media to share her experiences and stories to help others and feel less alone.

“Eventually, because of the head start in this field, opportunities came by, and I took the leap of faith to continue with this as my career path,” Naomi said.

She added that she thought of having a ‘proper job’, but circumstances in her life required otherwise.

Naomi mentioned: “I’m 27 this year, so I’ve practically spent more than half my life online, and it was never part of the plan. But I’m lucky to say that I made some good choices + met some amazing people who supported me along the way, and ended up where I am today.”

“It hasn’t been the easiest journey, especially when you decide on an uncommon path that makes you feel uncertain and lonely on most days,” she added.

She assured her followers that mistakes and failures are bound to happen and that they can use these to learn, grow, and progress.

“I think we can always plan for things, but more often than not, life happens, and all we can do is make the best of whatever we have,” she concluded.
