Man becomes aggressive and drops poodle after being told to leash his pet

Although dog owners in Singapore are required to keep their pets leashed when in public places, it appears that a man missed the memo as he walked at Punggol Waterway Park with his pet poodle unleashed, causing another pet owner to confront him.

The dog owner took to TikTok on Friday (Sept 16) to share their encounter with the man.

‘City boy’ scared but still rescues fish from Giant Supermarket floor in funny viral video

Armed with plastic bags, a man was caught on camera valiantly rescuing a black fish from the floor before returning it to its tank in a supermarket.

The rescue mission was conducted with the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song playing in the background, making the entire endeavour more comical.

Man says that after hawker operations were turned over to food court management, ‘tables were left dirty with utensils not properly cleaned and always wet’

A netizen who goes by Kuan Kuan on Facebook appeared to be nostalgic for Singapore’s good old hawker days “when hawkers can provide food at every corner of Singapore.”

He posted his “lament” over how times have changed for hawkers and their customers over the years in a post on Complaint Singapore Facebook page on Saturday (Sept 17).

The weather did not dampen the spirit as former Workers’ Party chief Low Thia Khiang joined Aljunied GRC and Hougang SMC members of parliament for community outreach at the Hainanese Village market and food centre.

Out in full force, to promote the party’s newsletter The Hammer, present were Leader of Opposition Pritam Singh along with his fellow parliamentarians Sylvia Lim, Faisal Abdul Manap, Leon Pereira, Gerald Giam and Dennis Tan.

Nicole Seah from The Workers’ Party shares the importance of house visits as it enables them to reach out to each resident and listen to their issues. Along with Abdul Shariff Aboo Kassim who contested with her in East Coast GRC in the 2020 Singapore General Election, the team in blue were out in Bedok South earlier this week.

One encounter saw a wet market stallholder lamenting about how her business is seeing a slowdown during covid as many consumers are now changing their purchasing habits and going online.
