“Came back from Bangkok, walking hand in hand with the girl, wearing couple’s t-shirts, neglected his son, neglected his wife” — these were some phrases shared by Facebook user Jolly Hong who waited with her son at Changi Airport in hopes of finding her husband, Mr Chua, who had disappeared for six months.

Ms Hong posted details of the incident on June 18, noting her husband didn’t even bother giving money for their son’s upbringing. She was a full-time housewife ever since their son’s birth, leaving her with no income. A video of the confrontation at Changi Airport has since gone viral on social media, with Ms Hong telling Mr Chua she had been looking for him for six months, only to catch him holding another woman’s hand.

A woman took to social media after a difficult experience when her husband was brought to the emergency department of Sengkang General Hospital due to a suspected ligament tear on his shoulder.

After fasting for 12 hours, no tests or scans had been scheduled for him, and neither was he given a bed, but waited in the observation ward.

KFC Toa Payoh staff allegedly refuses customer’s request for cup of water, Father’s Day dinner ruined

A KFC employee allegedly refused to give water to a family, resulting in the family’s Father’s Day dinner getting ruined. The Facebook page Complaint Singapore member said that they ordered a 15-piece chicken bucket for the family of six and asked for seven cups of plain water as they didn’t want to drink “fizzy soft drinks.”

“My seven-year-old son accidentally spilt one cup, and I went to ask for another cup,” said the netizen. However, the staff member he asked allegedly refused. “I already gave you seven cups of water; I cannot give you another cup, you need to buy the soft drinks,” the woman said. “Her attitude was rude and loud. I was stunned!” said the customer in the post.

Netizen alleges woman who sleeps around with men married his S’pore friend just to get PR status, asks advice how to stop her schemes

In a rather heartbreaking story, a netizen alleged that his friend’s wife got married to him just to become a Permanent Resident (PR) in Singapore. In an anonymous post to popular Facebook page SGWhispers, the netizen wrote that his friend got married to a foreigner the year before, and added that to date, they have been married for 9 months.

In a post on Monday (Jun 20), the netizen added: “Throughout the marriage, the wife does not attend any family’s (sic) gatherings on the husband[‘s] side. And she did not move to her husband’s place after ROM. After marriage, the wife’s true colours started to show. She will get angry at the slightest thing and will start cursing him and his family to death”.

VIDEO | Singapore kid scolds David Beckham “Eh!” for not focusing during training, Beckham apologises to kid

 

Over the weekend, former footballer David Beckham ran a football clinic here in Singapore, training some children. He then shared a clip of the session on his Instagram page on Sunday (Jun 19). Beckham captioned: “Back to training today ⚽😅 Love the energy on the pitch @adidas @adidassg , these kids have a lot of potential! Great being back in Singapore”.

In the 23-second clip, Beckham was seen coaching some young boys. In the drill, the children take turns kicking a ball past him. As they ran around him, animatedly talking, he accidentally missed out on one child. In the clip, that boy could then be heard shouting “Eh!” at a distracted Beckham to get his attention. Beckham then good-naturedly responded with “Ah okay, sorry” and quickly turned back to play with the boy.
