Pritam Singh says message to Raeesah Khan ‘proves’ he wanted her to come clean

Singapore — Workers’ Party chief Pritam Singh says he told the father of Ms Raeesah Khan that she needed to take ownership and responsibility for the falsehoods she told in Parliament.

He said this on Wednesday, when he was recalled by Parliament’s Committee of Privileges. It was the second time in a week that he had testified before the committee.

Singapore — The  Workers’ Party will weather the Raeesah Khan storm, says WP member and former Non-Constituency Member of Parliament (NCMP) Yee Jenn Jong.

Mr Yee who had stepped away from active politics late last year was careful to state that he was saying this in his personal capacity.

Two Sinovac jabs ‘insufficient’ against Omicron — HKU study

 

Pfizer and Sinovac Covid-19 vaccines

A new study from the University of Hong Kong has found that two doses of Sinovac, China’s Covid-19 vaccine administered in many countries provide “insufficient” antibodies against the Omicron variant of the virus driving the current pandemic.

The variant, first isolated in South Africa in late November, has been found to multiply about 70 times faster than the original and Delta versions of the virus, in samples of bronchial tissue taken from the tubes that link the lungs and windpipe.

South Korea — South Korean entertainment portal Soompi reports that TVN’s upcoming drama “Bad and Crazy” has released a new teaser for its debut episode.

It’s a hero-villain action-drama involving Ryu Soo Yeol (Lee Dong Wook), a capable but bad guy who meets K (Wi Ha Jun), a crazy guy who cares a lot about justice.

Singer Billie Eilish opened up about her first time watching porn, reports Entertainment Tonight. The singer said that having watched “abusive” porn affected her first few sexual encounters.

“The first few times I had sex, I was not saying no to things that were not good,” she claimed. “It was because I thought that’s what I was supposed to be attracted to.”
