The English football club Liverpool FC’s first Singapore retail store will open soon—in fact, it’s expected to throw its doors open sometime this Christmas season.
Last month, the official Liverpool FC (LFC) retail store posted this exciting and mysterious announcement on their Instagram account.
“It’s only the beginning. LFC’s 1st Official Store in Singapore. Coming December 2019,” the post read.
With no specific date revealed, just the elusive “Coming December 2019” statement, Singapore’s Reds fans must be dying of excitement, curiosity, and the need for some serious football fashion swag and kick-ass gear.
The official retail store of the English football club has scheduled its grand opening for some time this Christmas, just in the time for the biggest gift-giving season of the year. If you know any hardcore fans, a trip to the shop would be a massive treat for them.
According to the post, the retail outlet will be located somewhere at the Bugis Junction shopping centre.
Die-hard football fans have been waiting with bated breath to get their hands on some sick Liverpool FC merchandise, from football jerseys to urban wear and other official gear.
The LFC Singapore store will soon be the second official LFC retail store in Southeast Asia. There is a store in Bangkok, Thailand. Apparently, the Kuala Lumpur store closed down at the beginning of this year.
“Bugis Junction is the 10th LFC Official Club Shop after Anfield L4 0TH, Williamson Square, Chester, Liverpool One, Birkenhead, Dublin, Belfast, Abu Dhabi & Bangkok. Kuala Lumpur (Ceased business operations w.e.f. March 2019),” wrote Zulkiflee Marzuki on Facebook.
