Joanne Peh celebrates husband Qi Yuwu’s 44th birthday with social media post

Singapore — Local actress Joanne Peh recently celebrated her husband’s 44th birthday by posting it on social media.

In the post, Peh is seen recording Qi Yuwu as he coolly sips a juice and is presented with a birthday cake. With the ‘Happy Birthday’ song playing in the video, the Chinese-born actor is seen making a wish with his chocolate cake.

Peh wrote in the caption that her husband had no idea where he was heading or what he was in for. The actress promised not to have any nasty surprises but instead, lots of food and well wishes from loved ones.

She then ended the post by wishing him a happy birthday. Before Peh and Qi Yuwu started dating, the actress was in a high-profile relationship with Bobby Tonelli for four years. Tonelli and Peh met on the set of The Little Nyonya.

Peh and Qi Yuwu were friends for 10 years before they started going out in April 2013. On Sep 9, 2014, the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony at the Mövenpick Heritage Hotel Sentosa. In 2015, Peh gave birth to a baby girl. Two years later, she and Qi Yuwu welcomed a baby boy.

In a separate post, Peh talked about Thanksgiving which is one of the biggest celebrations that her family does every year.

“Thanksgiving, one of the biggest celebrations our family does every year had to be modified with restrictions in place.

This season of gratitude is important to us, as we take stock of the year and gather with friends and family to spread love and thanks. The last Thursday of November is always close to my husband’s birthday so that too gives us more reason to celebrate. 🎂

It’s through the toughest times that we see true colours – to all who’ve shown us yours, whether good or bad, I’m grateful nonetheless. 🍂🍁

What are you grateful for? 🤎”, she wrote in the caption. /TISG
