Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson does not take anything for granted, often taking to social media to express the gratitude he feels for the career opportunities he had.

Recently in a new IGTV post, he thanked his fans for their support.

“I just want to say thank you guys so, so much,” he says in the video. “You have officially made Hobbs & Shaw not only a massive, global success — as we’ve just crossed $750 million dollars at the global box office — but also, you helped enable a build-out and an expansion of the Fast and Furious universe.”

Johnson went on to acknowledge his Fast & Furious co-star and producer Vin Diesel: “But also lastly, but not least, want to thank brother Vin for your support of Hobbs & Shaw.”

The actor joined the Fast & Furious franchise in 2011, playing DSS agent Luke Hobbs.

After that he went on to appear in the next three movies in the series before getting his own spinoff in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.

The ninth instalment is currently in production but Johnson isn’t due to star in it, which many have speculated to be due to the on-set tensions between him and Vin Diesel during shooting for The Fate of the Furious.

However if Johnson’s message to Diesel is anything to go by, though, that the feud has been forgotten.

“As you know, and what a wild ride this is, and what a wild ride this has been, ten years ago when you and I spoke and you invited me into the Fast & Furious family. I’m grateful for that invite, and as you know, my goal was always — all these years — to come into the Fast & Furious world and help elevate the franchise in any way that I possibly could. If I could do that, then I’ve done my job. And now here we are ten years later, this massively successful build-out and expansion. We did it the right way, we did it the smart way, and again brother, I appreciate your support.”

Johnson signed off with a wink, and a hint that he could soon be rejoining Diesel in the main Fast & Furious franchise, saying: “I’ll be seeing you soon, Toretto.” -/TISG
