The rumour mill online has been speculating that Korean pop band BTS’s member Taehyung is colour blind.

Netizens have also speculated even though he is colour blind, it is not that bad to the point that it will have impact on his daily life.

It was reported that Taehyung suffers from ‘monochromatic blindness’ meaning he could only see shades of gray and it’s like seeing the world through an old black and white television screen.

However, there is no news when he started to have colour blindness or if it only happened to one of his eyes and also whether he got it when he was a kid or teen.

Some fans dispelled the rumours, saying that he is not colour blind.

There are three different types of colour blindness and subtypes but none of which apply to him, according to a fan.

There are fanfiction online about it but Taehyung himself did not speak colour blindness.

The rumour about Taehyung being colour blind started out of nowhere and there is no reason why it was sparked.

Whether he is colour blind or not does not affect his career as a singer/dancer/songwriter/record producer and actor.
