‘Give ang bao, 5-star rating!’ as Foodpanda rider delivers in the middle of lecture

A Foodpanda rider delivered a moment of joy for a whole class when he interrupted a lecture with food ordered by one of the students.

A classmate captured the moment on Instagram, which was then shared on the Singapore Incidents Facebook and IG pages.

“OMG Someone ordered @FoodpandaSG straight to our lecture theatre.”

The 25-second video shows the rider showing up at the door of the theatre, and the lecturer obligingly pointing out the student who made the order.

The delivery rider then makes his way to her as the student covers her face in embarrassment.

At that point, many students break out in applause.

“Give ang bao, give ang bao,” one student can be heard shouting, while another yells, “Five-star! Five-star rating.”

The video, posted by Charlie Tan, has since gone on to be viewed more than 82,000 times.

Commenters tipped their hats to the delivery rider.

Several netizens, however, criticised the student who ordered the food, saying that she could have at least got up and walked to the door to get the order.

However, others pointed out that the order could have come as a complete surprise to the young woman, with someone else ordering the food for her.
