PHNOM PENH, SEPT 12, 2018 — Seatel, the first and only digital services provider in Cambodia, rebranded itself with the launch of ‘yes seatel’, paving the way for the innovative tech firm to make inroads in the young and tech-savvy population.

“The brand relaunch is symbolised by the introduction of its new logo and visual identity, which proclaims a fresh positive look for a company that is eager to make¬ inroads with the young and tech-savvy generation, and at the same time, contributing to the modernization of Cambodia’s digital infrastructure,” it said in a media release.

The new logo maintains the equity of the old one by retaining “seatel”, and at the same time introduces the spirited shade of magenta around “yes”.

“This is not merely a change of name and visualization of one of the country’s largest 4G network – it represents a paradigm shift in directing the company’s focus towards Internet leadership as well as to deliver the brand promise of providing “the best 4G Xperience nationwide” in this interesting, dynamic and fast-growing Internet market.

“Yes, it is time for the consumer to have a choice, a better one. ‘yes seatel’ has one and only 4G Network nationwide covering all major cities in 25 provinces with 85% population covered. We provide a seamless video streaming xperience on all major highways,” said Kok Leong Yap, the CEO of yes seatel.

He said users driving from Phnom Penh all the way to Poipet on National Highways 5 or 6, they can enjoy YouTube streaming non-stop throughout the journey.

“Isn’t that amazing?” said Mr Yap.

South East Asia Telecom Group Ltd. (seatel) is incorporated in Singapore since 2014. It has offices in Cambodia and covers the entire country with its 4G network. It is also the only telco-digital player that does not offer 3G and 2G services.

“Our brand promise is extended to how we treat our customers via all our touch points nationwide. We offer personalised customer service to our clients in three languages, Khmer, English and Chinese in all touch points.

“We have also revamped our official website, mobile app, yes e-hub as well as our yes hubs. Today, there are 27 yes hubs, our own physical customer centers nationwide and growing.

“What makes us unique is our long presence and deep roots in Cambodia, and our team that has international expertise that can match any other telecoms firm in the sector. We are wholeheartedly and unequivocally saying ‘yes’ to provide the BEST 4G Xperience nationwide to you,” said Yap.
