BTS’s Jimin named King of K-Pop

One of the band members of the super popular K-Pop group BTS Jimin has been named King of K-Pop 2019.

Jimin, 23 received the highest votes from fans across the globe via the website King Choice (kingchoice.me).

It is the biggest international voting website for the K-Pop world.

Jimin, whose full name is Park Ji-min, received more than 1.2 million votes, putting him ahead of singer and ex-member of Wanna One, Kang Daniel who is at second place.

Other BTS band members also made it to the top five with Kim Taehyung (V) in third place, followed by Jungkook and RM in fourth and fifth position respectively.

Jimin was announced as 2019 King of K-Pop after he claimed first place in King Choice’s 2019 King of K-Pop voting poll proving his dignity, impact and popularity as a top class idol.

King Choice is well known as the largest international K-pop voting website.

Jimin is popular as one of the main dancers and lead vocalist in BTS.

Previously, Jimin attended Just Dance Academy to learned popping and locking dance before moving to Busan High School of Arts to studied contemporary dance.

He was a top student in the modern dance department there.

Jimin is also known as one of BTS most formidable dancers.

He is also ranked first in August Boy Group Individual Brand Reputation Ranking and it marks Jimin ranked first for eight months consecutively.
