Adele reveals the one song her son hated during recording while she was pregnant

When singer Adele was pregnant, she only recorded one song, but her son wanted nothing to do with it.

When Adele was expecting her son, Angelo she was working on her song for the Skyfall soundtrack. Her son protested from inside her belly every time Adele tried to record the song.

“I was heavily pregnant when I did the vocals for ‘Skyfall’ and it’s the only song I recorded when I was pregnant with him,” Adele said during her 73 Questions interview with Vogue.

She added, “So my voice was a lot lower, and he also hated it when I was singing the high notes. He’d sort of kick around inside of me.”

Even though Angelo was not keen on Adele’s music, the singer was obviously able to get the song done, and it became a hit. Angelo, who is now aged nine, has not quite grasped his mother’s fame and much prefers Taylor Swift.

When Adele went on tour, Angelo was only four and had never actually seen her perform in front of a full stadium. So Swift was actually his first major concert experience, reported Buzzfeed.

“His jaw dropped. I got really annoyed! I was like, ‘Excuse me! This is what I do, you know?’ He said, ‘When we go on tour, should I have a seat next to me with Taylor Swift’s name on it for Taylor to come?'” Adele revealed.

Born May 5, 1988, Adele Laurie Blue Adkins is an English singer and songwriter. She is one of the world’s best-selling music artists, with sales of over 120 million records. After graduating in arts from the BRIT School in 2006, Adele signed a record deal with XL Recordings.

In 2007, she received the Brit Award for Rising Star and won the BBC Sound of 2008 poll. Her debut album, 19, was released in 2008. It is certified 8× platinum in the UK and triple platinum in the US. The album contains her first song, “Hometown Glory”, written when she was just 16, which is based on her home suburb of West Norwood in London.

An appearance she made on Saturday Night Live in late 2008 boosted her career in the US. At the 2009 Grammy Awards, Adele won the awards for Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. /TISG
