Reckless hit-and-run driver crushes man’s leg in bid to escape from accident scene near Upper Serangoon

A video of a hit-and-run accident involving a SUV vehicle, SKK1498C, has gone viral. Facebook user Libbie Tan first reported the accident and said she captured the entire incident in her dashcam.

According to the Libbie, the driver of SKK1498C ran over the man at a turn-right junction. The driver not not only did not stop to render assistance, but also accelerated to escape the scene, causing the vehicle to run over the man again, crushing his leg.

"SKK1498C, you ran over a man and continued to drive over his leg. I chased after you and you refused to stop even after I stopped my car in front of yours. I've reported you to the police." – L. Libbie tried unsuccessfully to intervene and stop the vehicle from driving away.

In her Facebook post, which has since been made private, Libbe said: “SKK1498C, you ran over a man and continued to drive over his leg. I chased after you and you refused to stop even after I stopped my car in front of yours. I’ve reported you to the police.”

The car turned out from Surin Road onto Upper Serangoon Road where the accident happened today (24 May) at 7.23 am.
