SINGAPORE: On the first night of Lady Gaga’s concerts in Singapore, one man appeared to find himself on the edge of glory by dancing his heart out all by himself. When a clip showing him head and shoulders above the crowd in his section was posted on TikTok, so many people cheered him on.
The video was posted on the account of @bbellywellyjelly on Monday (May 19), and since then, it has received over 100,000 views
“Dear Section 114, to those of you who told security not to stop this guy from dancing, you were the absolute best,” the post author wrote.

In the video, the man, whose back can only be seen, is dancing, posing, and applauding enthusiastically while everyone around him is seated, enjoying the concert more sedately.
At one point, however, he turns, and everyone around him cheers him on.
In the comments section, the man, who appears to be a fellow TikTok user, graciously addressed those who were nearby.
“Thank you for letting me dance, section 114 🥰 sorry if I disturbed your view,” he wrote.
The post author, however, seemed to feel there was no need for apologies, writing, “You made our night! Keep dancing!”
When other commenters asked why security guards would even dream of making anyone sit down at a Lady Gaga concert, where everyone is expected to, you know, just dance, the post author replied that many concertgoers were delighted at how much the dancing man was enjoying himself.
“I was on the last row, and everyone behind him was telling security to let him be – it was such a cute moment! Everyone was cheering for him, I loved that so muchhhhhhhhh he was THE VIBE,” she wrote.
Another TikTok user had a completely different experience, writing, “We had people tell us to sit down😅 it’s a Gaga concert, you have to expect to see people dancing.”
“I was in section 111 and I think I’m the only person standing and singing to Gaga… I paid for the tickets and I’m here for Mother!” chimed in another.
“BRO I WANT THIS KIND OF PEOPLE IN MY SECTION!!! So the crowd doesn’t look dead,” a commenter wrote.
When one wrote, “I want to dance, and two people behind me told me to sit down. What a shame,” another replied with, “Omg I can never sit down. I was there yesterday and I was so glad that the crowds behind me also stood and danced all night.”
“She literally told the crowd to JUMP AND PUT YOUR HANDS UP,” wrote another commenter.
One quipped, “GAGA DONT ALLOW PEOPLE TO SIT AT HER CONCERT LOL.” /TISG
