Police arrest naked man for creating ruckus in SBS bus

The police have arrested a man for appearing nude in public places. The incident happened in Sengkang, and according to STOMP which first reported the incident, the man was trying to kick the door of bus number 159. A passerby who witnessed this returned with officers from the police station who escorted him away.

The incident happened on Friday (30 Dec) afternoon. The offence carries a jail sentence of up to 3 months or a fine of up to $2,000.

This is the second incident in December where a naked man was found in public transport. In early December, a netizen shared the picture of a naked man lying down in an MRT train (https://theindependent.sg.sg/man-who-striped-naked-in-mrt-train-travelling-from-jurong-east-to-woodlands-shocks-commuters).

In the incident which happened on 10 Dec in a train which was travelling from the Jurong East station to the one in Woodlands, the striper was caught by the MRT staff at the Marsiling station. He had allegedly peed in his pants before stripping naked.
