Police NSF stole policewoman's bra in police station and took nude pictures of policewomen

A policeman serving his National Service, Abdul Qayyum Mohd Hashim (aged 20), was today jailed nine months for stealing the bra of a policewoman, and taking pictures of  three female police officers in the shower using his mobile phone.
In January last year while on duty, he noticed a female police officer entering the toilet with a towel. He followed her into the toilet intending to take pictures of her, but instead stole her bra. The 21-year-old policewoman later made a police report over the theft of her bra.
The police’s technology crime branch recovered the pictures of three other policewomen which he had erased from his mobile phone during their investigation.
Abdul Qayyum, who was not represented by a lawyer, pleaded for leniency. “Please give me a chance to change”, he pleaded and explained that his mother is in prison and that no one is around to look after his ill grandmother. His father had abandoned the family a long time ago.
The judge remarked that the NSF was very audacious “to commit the offences in a police station.”
“You did so in the course of your duty … (which was to) prevent and detect the very acts you carried out”, the judge said, adding that a jail term was “absolutely necessary,” the judge said in sentencing Abdul Qayyum.
