Ayden Sng, a soon to be 29-year-old Singaporean actor, shares that his secret of staying young at heart is by doing what he loves the most.

On November 18, 2022, the actor had his guesting on Wednesday Music Station, a program co-organized by the Singapore Chinese Cultural Center and YES 933. With the theme: Forever Young / In the Mood for Love, Ayden was asked what his definition of the word “young” is.

The actor believes that “youth” is relatively connected to “frivolity”. He expressed that when he was studying in the United States, he joined a fraternity and became the head for some time.

“That decision was made at a young age, because it does not fit my personality after all” he exclaimed.

Ayden will be celebrating his 29th birthday on November 17, he mentioned that he is living between his 20s and 30s. He stated that he resonates his life with a song he had heard – about the fact that being 30 might not entail the life that he imagined where his friends may be better than him, and still feels as if he was floating in life.

“There are too many unknowns in the acting industry. Maybe you are doing well now, but after half a year, no one may find you to film again, or your schedule becomes very empty” he said.

For Ayden, being 30 is like a deadline. Before he reaches that age, if he has to fight for his career and life, he will do so.

With his current age, he admitted that he will spend more time examining and knowing more about himself.

“What is my achievement and development so far… Whether it is in terms of career, or in terms of skills and self-care ability, I hope to be able to reach a level that will make me happy and satisfied.” he added.

He suggested as well to keep talking to the younger generation and learn a lot from them.

Ayden Sng declared that he will do more of what he loves such as spending time cooking at home, and drinking wine. It may sound like an ‘uncle’ thing to do so, but the most important thing is that he is happy.
