A 32-year-old Singaporean man has been sentenced to six months and six weeks in jail after he molested and slapped two young female colleagues on different occasions, and even masturbated in front of one of the young women.

Both victims are 21 years old and cannot be named due to court-mandated gag orders to protect their identities.

The court heard that Wong Choon Heng, who worked as a packer, committed a series of crimes in June this year. He started with the first victim by slapping her on the buttocks over her jeans in front of colleagues. Six days later, he walked over to her while she was speaking with someone else and slapped her across the face.

The victim filed a police report against Wong and also revealed that Wong showed her a knife and expressed a desire to kill himself and his girlfriend.

A day before he slapped the first victim across the face, Wong touched the chest of a second 21-year-old victim while they were smoking at a staircase landing outside their work. The victim was shocked but did not know what to do.

Wong subsequently threatened to slap her unless she let him touch her breasts. When she pushed his hands away, he suddenly unzipped his pants and began masturbating in front of her while trying to pull the victim towards him. When the victim resisted, he slapped her several times.

Wong pleaded guilty to five charges including sexual exposure, molestation and voluntarily causing hurt. The judge also took five other similar charges into consideration for sentencing.
