Msian org: Wang Lei in bra & skirt livestream has ‘obscene content’ — it’s ‘indecent’ and ‘encourages porn culture’

Singaporean actor and getai artist Wang Lei has been called out by a Malaysian organisation because of his live stream that allegedly contains “obscene content”.

The videos in question featured Mr Wang, 61, in a bra and skirt while promoting clothes from a Malaysian brand.

The Malaysia International Humanitarian Organisation (MHO) has asked authorities to blacklist the Singapore artist, reported Malaysian Malay-language daily Berita Harian.

According to its website, MHO’s “primary purpose is to safeguard the rights and well-being of refugees and foreigners in Malaysia.”

In a live stream on Apr 25, Mr Wang wore a pink bra and a cream skirt from Peni Concept, which is based in Johor.

The stunt had been a successful one, as 8,000 bras were sold in a quarter of an hour.

Datuk Hishamuddin Hashim, the secretary of MHO, said what Mr Wang had done was “indecent” and “encouraged porn culture.”

The actor was also “reported to have made a promotion at a shopping centre in Ipoh, Perak which was broadcast live on his Facebook, asking a local woman to blow (up) condoms to make them into balloons,” the MHO secretary added.

The organisation says that over 20 police reports against Mr Wang have been filed and is asking that authorities “take action”.

Some netizens commenting on Mr Lei’s trouble with the MHO have also expressed disapproval of his selling methods while live-streaming.
