Singapore — What do you do when an angry motorist stands outside your car and calls you “very very rude”?

Well, it seems that the answer is to stay calm and carry on, at least it was for one young man and woman.

In a nearly four-minute video on Facebook and YouTube, a man can be heard ranting at them while they sat inside their BMW.

Uploaded on Jan 28, the clip has been viewed over 114,000 times on Facebook.

And while the angry man isn’t too clear at times, some of his words can be understood. The man and woman sitting in the car cannot be heard, however.

The older man accused the younger one of nearly knocking him over and for raising his middle finger at him.

This angered the older man so much that he apparently decided to record the incident.

“Very, very rude,” he can be heard saying. “Not okay!”

But the couple seemingly refuses to engage with the older man, and do not even roll down the window of their vehicle.

Growing more upset, he then asks if they know the “rules and regulations,” and tells the young woman that she needs to “stand up for uncle.”

“You should tell your brother… say sorry to me,” he adds. “I’m angry because your brother showed (his) centre finger at me.”

And when the woman seemed to try to answer, he said, “No, no, don’t talk. Young man showed centre finger at me. He is in the wrong, okay?”

The young man stays on his phone and is seen talking to someone, while the woman looks like she is filming the incident.

“Sorry, no cure. I will call police,” the older man added.

The young man and woman then exchange phones. They continue to ignore the older man, who stands outside their car.

At one point, he says, “You want to escape? I let you escape.”

But since the two stayed where they are, he tries to get them to open the window.

The young woman refuses, while her companion continues to refuse to engage, and does not even look at the older man.

“Young girl, you better know what is education,” the older man tells her. “Your brother points centre finger at me,” he repeated.

“You tell me, is it the right way?”

But the woman turns to her phone and ceases to engage with the man as well.

Netizens seemed to side with the uncle, saying that the younger man could have at least apologised.
