A food delivery rider from GrabFood has allegedly been caught on camera stealing a pair of shoes.

In a video that went viral on social media, the rider reportedly stole the shoes from the cousin of netizen Grace Lim.

Stealing at my cousin's house. Apparently this grab delivery guy thought cctv is installed at eye level. Check left right no check up down.Stupidity level: Maximum#dontbelikehim#whysogoondu

CCTV footage uploaded by Grace yesterday (June 27) showed the GrabFood rider, clad in uniform and a pair of sunglasses, delivering food to a place of residence in a HDB block.

Along with him, the rider brought what seemed to be an electronic bicycle or scooter.

After the food was delivered, the rider looked around, presumably checking for a CCTV camera, grabbed a pair of shoes and placed it into his GrabFood delivery bag.

Grace’s post was widely shared, with netizens seeming to poke fun of the incident, more than take offense.

Many also came up with puns such as ‘GrabFoot’, ‘GrabAShoe’ and ‘GrabShoes’.

Responding to media queries, a Grab spokesperson said: “We are aware of this and are investigating the matter. Grab does not condone such behaviour and will terminate delivery-partners who are found guilty.”
