Singapore – Members of the Merdeka and Pioneer generations can now enjoy more discounts when they shop at Fairprice starting July 1.

The supermarket chain announced on June 17 (Monday) that they are extending for another year their discount scheme of three per cent for members of the Pioneer Generation.

The offer is available on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Meanwhile, members of the Merdeka Generation will get to enjoy the same discount, which was extended for the first time, every Wednesday.

With over 140 FairPrice outlets across Singapore, Pioneer and Merdeka generation senior citizens can benefit from the savings at places such as FairPrice supermarkets, FairPrice Shop stores, FairPrice Finest outlets, and FairPrice Xtra hypermarkets.

The discount is an initiative offered by FairPrice to show their appreciation to senior citizens.

“This additional benefit to Merdeka Generation members is a simple gesture by FairPrice in appreciation to our seniors for their contribution in developing Singapore as a vibrant nation with a cohesive community,” said FairPrice CEO Seah Kian Peng.
