A local church has been using the craze over Marvel’s long-awaited Avengers: Endgame to draw visitors by creating a catchy banner mirroring the posters of the superhero film.
Reddit user Jarvisgo shared a picture of the banner online. Instead of Marvel Studios presenting Avengers: Endgame, the banner invites visitors to the “Marvelous God’s Almighty Endgame”.
Citing Ephesians 1:9-10, the banner states: “God’s end game is that in the fullness of time He will gather together in one, all things in Christ, which are in heaven and on earth.”
u/jarvisgo’s post showing the banner went viral on Reddit, with over 1,000 upvotes, after he published this meme on the memes subreddit:

This is not the first time Orchard Road Presbyterian Church has used a parody of a Marvel Cinematic Universe film poster around the facade of their premises.
About a year ago, the church also made a parody poster following the design of Avengers: Infinity War, close to the film’s release date in April.
Presenting “the Almighty Infinite God” by the “Marvelous Saviour,” that poster cited Revelations 1:8 as it said: “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Netizens responding to both posters praised the church’s design and communications team while some opined that the banners would draw them to attend service.
