Customers wait in line for over 3 hours for service at Kaki Bukit POSB Branch

It appears that customers visiting the Kaki Bukit POSB branch have to wait for hours just to be served at the counter.

Pictures shared by one netizen, that show long lines of customers waiting for service at the branch, have been trending online. The netizen, Facebook user Nagaratnam ChandraPrakas, shared that he waited for over 3 hours just to change his ATM card. He wrote on Monday (18 Mar):

“Waiting More Than 3hours At Kaki Bukit POSB bank To Change My Bank ATM Card. Seriously i don’t know the bank staff doing what inside 100 over people’s still waiting In front of Me. Please do Something Different Way” (sic)

The photos Nagaratnam shared have garnered over 500 shares on social media, so far.

Some netizens responding to the pictures shared that the long lines could be due to the fact that the Kaki Bukit branch is the only POSB location where foreigners with work permits can apply for a bank card.

One netizen shared that it is the norm for the waiting time at the Kaki Bukit POSB branch to be so long and recounted that he once had to wait five hours for service:
