23 women arrested in police crackdown on public entertainment outlets

The Singapore Police Force conducted an island-wide crackdown on public entertainment outlets, between the 1st and 2nd of September.

The crackdown resulted in the arrest of 23 female entertainment employees in breach of the Public Entertainments Act and revealed at least 7 entertainment outlets that were in violation of licensing conditions.

The entertainment outlets located at South Bridge Road, Merchant road, Magazine Road, Tanjong Pagar Road, Tras Street, Duxton Road, Neil Road, New Bridge Road and Kampong Bahru Road were affected and action will be taken against the operators.
