A video posted on Twitter of a little girl who asked a guard at the Dubai airport if she could say goodbye to her aunt has gone viral, with many netizens charmed by the toddler’s show of manners at such a young age.

The video, posted by @KaptanHindostan on Oct 14, has been liked and shared tens of thousands of times in the past few days.

“She asked the officer permission to say goodbye to her aunt at the airport,” wrote @KaptanHindostan as a caption on the video, which shows a security guard asking the tiny girl, “Where are you going?”

When she points forward, he asks her, “Do you want to go?”

After he nods, she heads toward a woman who’s standing some meters away.

The child can be heard crying out as the woman runs toward her and then scoops her up into her arms.

In a follow-up tweet, the poster commended the airport guard for showing consideration to the little one, writing, “Well done @HIAQatar.”

Little else is known about the child and her aunt, except that their touching farewell was filmed at Hamad International Airport, which incidentally was named World’s Best Airport for 2021.

Commenters gushed about how adorable and innocent the little girl is.

Others wrote that the video had made their day.

Another commenter wrote, “This is how we should be at an airport!”

Other Twitterers commended the security guard.

There were also commenters who praised the little girl for her good manners, as well as her parents for raising her up well.

At least one commenter pointed out how hard goodbyes are, especially at the airport.
