Former Manchester United football star David Beckham and ex-Spice Girls member Victoria Beckham are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary, having gotten married in 1999 at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland.

The couple, together with their sons Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo shared social media posts to commemorate the occasion.

Fast forward to 20 years later, and the pair are happily married with four children.

Victoria posted a slideshow on Instagram with the caption: “20 years today. I love you so much xxxxx Kisses x @davidbeckham.”

Her other half David wrote on Instagram: “WOW 20 years, look what we created ♥️ Love you so much ♥️ @victoriabeckham @brooklynbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham#HarperSeven ♥️”

Son Brooklyn Beckham wrote on Instagram: “Happy anniversary mum and dad xx love you guys so much xx have a wonderful day ❤❤”

Romeo Beckham echoed Brooklyn’s sentiments by writing, “Happy 20th anniversary to the best parents love you so much ♥️♥️”:
Cruz Beckham shared the same wedding photo of his parents and wrote, “Happy anniversary to the most amazing mum and dad you mean the world to me, I love you so much you have no idea thank you for all the amazing times we have had. Love you so much mum and dad ❤?♾”:
And although Harper Beckham doesn’t have her own Instagram as yet, she featured heavily in a book gifted to the Beckhams from their children, which David shared on his Instagram Stories.
For the Beckhams, it was “love at first sight” 20 years ago.
Victoria shared that she was drunk hanging out at the Manchester United players’ lounge when she first saw David.

“While the other football players stand at the bar drinking with their mates, you will see David standing aside with his family,” she wrote in an open letter to her teenage self.

“(He’s not even in the first team at this stage—you are the famous one.) And he has such a cute smile. You, too, are close to your family, and you will think how similar he feels to you. He’s going to ask for your number. (He still has the London-to-Manchester plane ticket on which you wrote it.)”

David and Victoria’s first son Brooklyn was born Mar 4 1999. Romeo Beckham was born in 2002 followed by Cruz Beckham in 2005.

Their youngest child is daughter Harper Beckham born in 2011.
