Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA: Three people who were part of a group of devotees walking from Senawang to Batu Caves to participate in the Thaipusam religious celebration were killed when they were hit by a man driving a BMW car.
The accident happened at 8.30am along the Seremban-KL Highway near Seri Petaling. Three other devotees were injured in that accident. The injured have been sent to University Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre for treatment. The bodies of the dead have been sent to the Kuala Lumpur General Hospital.
batucaves2The accident is a case of hit and run. Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Tajuddin Md Isa said cops were working on tracing the owner of the BMW.
