Mother who brings her kids when she delivers GrabFood says “it’s just walking and walking”

A video of a mum joining GrabFood as a walker and bringing her two kids with her to work has gone viral, inspiring many in the process.

“One for the memory. So I joined Grab, a job that I can do and bring the kids along at my own time and target,” wrote a stay-at-home mother using the TikTok moniker Mummy Dee in a video on July 13.

Mummy Dee uses a makeshift wagon to hold her food delivery bag and two children, Aisha and Ammar.

The bag is placed at the back of the wagon while her kids sit cosily in front. They appear to enjoy the ride, too.

“So it’s just walking and walking,” she said at one point in the video before her kids say hello to the camera.

They rest at a coffee shop and continue on with their workday at 6:41 pm.

Mummy Dee didn’t expect her video to blow up. She clarified in a comment that she was busy handling the kids, among other house duties, and started doing food delivery on the side.

“And this is part of my routine to bring kids out, at the same time, I can earn too. This is fun for me, and I enjoy doing it,” she added.

The video has over 914,000 views and 85,000 likes, garnering the respect of netizens.

“I love this! This is a good example to show people who have 1,001 excuses not to work and depend on handouts fully. You go, mama!” said a TikTok user in a comment with over 4,050 likes.

“Your children are so blessed to have you as their mom. They will definitely grow up to be amazing people,” added Facebook user Nani Roslan./TISG
