Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas wed…again!

Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner tied the knot a second time with Joe Jonas (of Jonas Brothers fame) on June 29 at Château de Tourreau in the South of France.

The pair exchanged their vows for the first time at a ceremony in Las Vegas this May after the 2019 Billboard Music Awards.

It was a surprise ceremony for everyone but it clearly wasn’t the official wedding because there were Ring Pops instead of wedding rings and an Elvis officiator.

It’s interesting to know how Sophie Turner and Joe Jones met.

According to Sophie Turner in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK, they met on social media.

“We had a lot of mutual friends, and they’d been trying to introduce us for a long time,” she said.

“We were following each other on Instagram and he direct-messaged me one fine day, out of the blue.”

Shortly after that, the couple started dating in 2016 and by October 2017, they got engaged. Joe Jonas proposed with a $25,000 engagement ring.

At that time, Turner was only 21 years old while her then-fiance was 28.

She told Rolling Stone magazine that she feels much older than her actual age and that, “I think once you’ve found the right person, you just know.”

The second wedding ceremony in the south of France was attended by family and friends of the couple.

Joe Jonas was dressed in an all-black suit while Sophie Turner wore a Louis Vuitton outfit.

Joe’s brothers Kevin and Nick were in suits while Priyanka Chopra wore a pink gown and Danielle Jonas donned an emerald green dress.

A few days before the actual ceremony, the couple arrived at the Château de Tourreau with Nick, Kevin and their wives Priyanka Chopra and Danielle Jonas.

This gave them time to relax and lounge by the pool while the guests arrived.

During the pre-wedding party, Sophie was dressed in a white dress and her hair was pulled back in a classy chignon. -/TISG
