Soo Hyun is currently busy filming her newest drama, Chimaira that’s produced by JS Pictures and is set to air some time later this year.

Soo Hyun’s label Culture Depot has confirmed to media outlets, “Soo Hyun will be getting married to her fiancé Cha Min Geun this coming December 14, at Shilla Hotel. Soo Hyun plans on continuing her acting career after her marriage, so we ask for your warm congratulations.”

Soo Hyun, whose full name is Kim Soo-Hyun was born 25 January 1985 in Seoul, South Korea.

She is also known as Claudia Kim and she is a South Korean actress and model.

Soo Hyun made her debut in November 2006 when she acted in the television drama Queen of the Game.

She spent six years of her childhood in America before returning to South Korea.

When she was in middle school, she aspired to be an international lawyer and in high school she hoped to become a TV anchor.

Soo Hyun was inspired by watching CNN’s headline news anchor Karuna Shinsho in Asia.

She completed her studies abroad to continue her dream of becoming an anchor and entered Ewha Womans University’s Graduate School of International Studis (GSIS).

While enrolled, she worked as a reporter and announcer for three years in the school’s English-language newspaper, ‘Ewha Voice.’ She also worked as an intern reporter for The Korea Times and Arirang TV.

In addition, she was interested in songs, movies, and other fields, and that’s why she applied for the Super Model Contest on the last day.
