Rebecca Lim vomited and made a mess on her first date with her fiancé!

Rebecca Lim, a 36-year-old Singaporean actress, admitted that she vomited and made a mess on her first date with her now-fiance, Matthew Webster. In the latest episode of her show, With Love, Becks, she shared that she had gotten carsick during their first date.

“On our first date, he [Matthew]  took me for a drive after dinner. We went from the east [of Singapore] to the west, then west to east, chatting the entire way.” Rebecca said.

As a woman who was not used to road trips and being driven around, the two-hours car ride made her nauseous and caused her to vomit from motion sickness. She willingly remembered what had happened before the tragedy.

“I looked out the window and kept taking deep breaths, and he asked if I was okay. I said, ‘Hold on a minute, let me get some fresh air’ and blegh,” she added, re-enacting how she threw up that day.

Rebecca finds this experience rather funny and is not ashamed to talk about it. She never worries about being judged by her fiancé. “He’s already seen me at my ugliest… Sometimes I worry he won’t marry me anymore, but he’s okay with it,” she exclaimed.

The actress also expressed that in their relationship, Matthew has the ‘chill vibes’ while she was more of a perfectionist. She mentioned that when something does not work out according to her plans, she will be too hard on herself. Meanwhile, her husband will wonder and remind her that everything is not under her control.

The couple values their personal space as individuals. Rebecca gives her husband time for himself by letting him play the guitar or the drums, and even go for a ride to let it all out.

“He usually has his own space that I don’t intrude upon,” she stated.

Even though Rebecca lets her husband have his space, she makes sure to buy him a sweet treat when he is down.
