Furthermore, Pierre shared a screenshot of a post paying tribute to his father. It was a post made in a Facebook group consisting of alumni from CHIJ St. Joseph’s Convent – a local girls school. They addressed Pierre’s dad as Uncle Dom.

“He was a very warm and caring father figure we all grew so fond of. Uncle Dom, as we were all told to call him, was always kind and generous. He never scolded or was angry at us even when we were in our crazy teens. Or when we told silly jokes to him that probably didn’t make much sense,” stated the tribute.

People who encountered Uncle Dom asked and received his fatherly advice, and they shared that he often gave away ice creams and drinks when his refrigerator was broken.

“We will miss you Uncle Dom, we pray you will now find eternal peace and rest in Heaven,” the post concluded.

His wake will be held at Church of The Immaculate Heart of Mary from Nov 8, 2022, 5PM onwards.
