Parenting Fail 2.0: Netizens tell Naomi Neo to stop exploiting her young son after she publishes another prank video

Less than a month after Naomi Neo came under fire for the ghost prank she played on her young son went viral, netizens are calling out the popular social media influencer once again.

In her latest TikTok Ms Neo, told her 4-year-old son Kyzo that she and her husband had missed out on buying an air ticket to their upcoming family trip to Australia.

Why would I think he wanted me to give up my seat for him?! 😭 #prank #fyp

The child understandably gets upset and even begs his mum to stay home with him.

But Ms Neo doubles down, citing the expensive ticket, and even asks Kyzo to take care of the house for them.

He is seen bursting into tears.

“But if you go to Australia, who takes care of me?,” he asked her.

When she asks if he can take the plane alone another day, he shakes his head and tells her he’d be scared to take the plane without her.

“How can you forget about me?” he asks heartbreakingly, before jumping into a suitcase.

“What are you doing, Kyzo?” his mum can be heard asking while she laughs.

But some commenters on her post did not find the incident quite so amusing.

Last month, Ms Neo posted a video where she and her husband played a prank on their four-year-old son Kyzo, which ended with the young boy terrified and in tears.

The couple had apparently joined a recent trend where parents pretend to film a dance video with their kids but then leave the room quickly, locking the door behind them.

A blue ghostly figure created with TikTok’s effects then appears, laughing maniacally, scaring the children out of their wits.

Ms Neo and her husband, whom she refers to as H, followed this trend, leaving their little boy alone in a small room with a ghostly figure.

Kyzo, upon seeing the ghostly figure, quickly turns and runs after his parents, panicking visibly.

When the child is unable to open the door, he panics even more, jumping up and down in fright.

Although there is no audio aside from the maniacal laughter, Kyzo can be seen screaming in fear.

The ghost prank TikTok got almost 24 million views on TikTok, while the most recent one, which was posted on Friday (Sept 9), has been viewed 2.7 million times so far.
