Singapore – The king of fruit may have met its Instagram match with an Instagram post titled @hotdudeswithdurian showing men with rock hard abs posing with a durian.
The whole thing started as a joke among female friends who shared different posts from “hotdudeswith,” comprising a series of Instagram accounts illustrating a bunch of men doing daily activities such as @hotdudesreading making them even more attractive.
The all-female group that started the @hotdudeswithdurian movement comprises of Singaporeans and Singapore-based expats who have full-time jobs in finance, IT and education but also enjoy the perks of social media.
According to 8days.sg, the account was created on March 29 and garnered over 450 followers in a week. “We all have differing opinions about the durian, ranging from loving it to loathing it. But we all agree it is an extremely captivating food,” said a spokesperson of the group.
Forget boring, one-word captions, the hot guys with the durians are accompanied with witty and cheeky captions to make one “thorny”.

The men featured in the posts are from Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and even Hawaii. Some of the abs and durian-toting guys are friends or partners of the account holders while others were found on the Internet.
